Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application system.

Applications are now open and will shut on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a home which has a combined gross domestic earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined household money won't exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and want not submit any evidence of earnings.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing nsfas check Middle

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with nsfas 2025 combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.

Applicants are reminded to provide the right Id Document click here numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.

NSFAS only funds individuals who are finding out or plan to research at a public university or TVET college in South Africa.

All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.

Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
